Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will oversee food quality, inventory, safety, and customer service, ensuring compliance with menus and all regulations.

The role requires hands-on leadership of the food service team and effective communication with clients, residents, and staff. Qualifications include an associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, 2 years in similar roles,

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days; FSM and LTC-FSM certifications within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and sanitation procedures.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with residents and staff.
