Job summary

Brentwood is seeking a Dining Services Director to oversee all aspects of food service within our facility. You will manage menu planning, quality control, safety standards, and budget-conscious operations, while leading a dedicated Dining Services team to deliver nutritious, appealing meals for residents.

You’ll ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate with care teams, and oversee documentation of nutrition data, with a focus on high-quality dining experiences across skilled nursing and related

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDM certification or willingness to obtain.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant food service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food preparation and meal service according to planned menus.
• Supervise, train, and manage Dietary Aides and Cooks.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain dining staff to minimize turnover.
• Monitor residents’ nutritional needs and physician-ordered diets.
• Order food, supplies, and equipment; inspect deliveries for quality and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate in patient care meetings, contributing nutritional insights.
• Maintain accurate nutrition documentation.
• Adapt menus to meet diverse dietary needs of residents.
• Implement systems to support regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents.
