Harmony Senior Services in Roanoke, VA, is seeking a Dining Services Director to supervise staff, plan menus, and ensure sanitation and service standards across the dining program. You will hire, train, and evaluate dining staff while coordinating with vendors and maintaining budget controls.

The role requires ServSafe certification and a Food Service Manager Certificate, with strong leadership and customer-service skills to support residents and guests daily.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Service Manager Certificate and meet regulatory requirements.
• Experience in dining services with management/leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High school diploma required.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and carry heavy objects up to 20 ft.

Responsibilities

• Supervises dining services staff, including hiring, training and evaluation.
• Maintains kitchen, dining and storage cleanliness and sanitation compliance.
• Directs meal preparation and serving to residents, associates and guests.
• Manages menus and dietary needs while ensuring proper sanitation standards.
• Oversees budgeting, inventory, ordering and vendor relationships.
• Ensures meals are served on schedule and maintains nutrition value for residents.
• Attends required staff meetings and resident visits.
