Senior Lifestyle Corporation in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Dining Services Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the community’s dining program, uphold our HEART values, and ensure safety and quality in every meal.

You will manage purchasing and budgeting for food and supplies, schedule staff, enforce policy, and ensure residents’ prescribed diets are offered with dignity and hospitality. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on involvement in kitchen operations to support

Competenze

• 3+ years of previous Food Service experience.
• Serv Safe and/or other required local, county or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly.
• Positive and professional attitude with clear direction in a respectful demeanor.
• Pride in the quality and presentation of food and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Patience and effective communication with diverse personalities.

Mansioni

• Follow Dining Policy and Procedures and ensure department compliance.
• Purchase dining food and nonfood items and achieve 95% DSSI ordering compliance.
• Balance and maintain budgets for raw food and supplies.
• Utilize standard recipes for meals.
• Ensure food is served at proper temperature and portion sizes for safety and palatability.
• Accommodate residents' prescribed diets when applicable.
• Drive high satisfaction with hospitality and resident choice.
• Develop and implement operating and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct pre-meal dining stand-up with staff to review daily menus.
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations and inspections.
• Maintain clean dining areas and perform monthly sanitation audits.
• Interview, train, hire, discipline, and terminate dining staff.
• Oversee scheduling to maintain labor budget.
