Your Role:
As a Senior Dining Services Attendant, this position focuses on delivering outstanding customer service and creating the authentic Starbucks Experience through the preparation of quality beverages and maintenance of a warm, inviting environment. The role supports both Starbucks and the University of Arizona by ensuring timely, friendly service, upholding brand standards, and modeling core values. Additionally, the position assists in overseeing team operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Duties & Responsibilities- Inputs & receives and outs away storeroom orders. Prepares unit for opening, stocking, signs, cleanliness, and equipment. Sets up Sequoia, retrieves banks, prepares market and food as needed.
- Monitors food quality and employee productivity. Ensures all areas are staffed, delegates job assignments.
- Openly communication with staff and supervisors. Completes product orders as required.
- Rings up orders accurately, accepts money and returns correct change. Counts bank to verify accuracy. Enters totals on reports as required
- Greets and serves customers in a friendly courteous manner. Provides suggestions and input to supervisor. Actively solves problems wherever possible. Works harmoniously with coworkers.
- Oversees and assists with weekly inventory. Controls labor and food costs.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to interpret instructions and perform basic arithmetic calculations, typically acquired through the completion of a high school education or equivalent education and experience.
- Knowledge of computerized inventory control systems.
- Knowledge in scheduling, customer relations, and maintaining cash flow security.
- Knowledgein food service production, culinary and service techniques and standards.
- Knowledge of labor cost and food cost budgets.
- Knowledge of Food Pro and performs Forecasting, Service Needs and Modify Delivery Information.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly subject to conditions associated with indoor food preparation, storage, and service areas, including exposure to mechanical parts, heat and cold.
- Ability to lift/transport a maximum of 50lbs.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume restaurant.
- Experience in group leadership.
