chartwells higher education is recruiting a Assistant Director of Dining Services I at the University of Pittsburgh, PA. You will help manage daily dining operations, lead a team, and drive profitability while maintaining client relations.

The role requires 1–3 years in food service management with strong leadership, financial acumen, and MS Office proficiency. A preferred associate’s degree is noted. Chartwells emphasizes equal opportunity employment and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen skills.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day food service operations at a medium to large location.
• Manage and lead a team of associates and develop talent.
• Support client relationships, profitability, and financial goals.
• Collaborate with Chef and management on nutritious, top quality food.
• Train and develop associates; perform other duties as assigned.
