Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dining Services Aide to assist in preparation and serving meals for residents. You will help with setting up trays, serving, and basic meal prep, while maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas. You will participate in ongoing training and ensure compliance with all guidelines.

The role requires the ability to learn routines quickly, follow recipes, and sanitize workspaces. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and a food handlers’ certificate should be

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Learn new food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Assist with preparing meals and washing dishes after use.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain sanitizer solutions.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; store groceries safely.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas; sweep and mop floors.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
