Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, tray setup, dishwashing, and serving in a healthcare or institutional setting. You will help maintain clean, sanitary kitchen areas and assist with routine food service tasks. A strong attention to safety and following recipes is essential.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read and follow procedures. You will work under the Cook and Dietary supervisor and participate in ongoing training and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up and prepare meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor dishwasher temperatures and chlorine levels.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen areas and manage waste.
• Support orientation and training of dietary staff.
