Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Dining Services Server to provide prompt, courteous service to residents and guests during meals in the dining room or Bistro. You will handle serving, bussing, cleaning, and hospitality tasks, with light food prep for events and salads/desserts as directed.

Responsibilities include setting up for meetings, following safety and sanitation guidelines, and opening/closing dining rooms as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English).
• Must read and follow written instructions and safety practices.
• Must be cordial and congenial with residents.
• Must be dependable, detail oriented, organized, and able to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables.
• Serves Breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff in the Dining Room or Bistro.
• Bus and reset tables as needed.
• Prepare salad bar items for lunch and set for service with ice.
• Prepare and stage desserts; light food prep for special events.
• Assist in setting up meetings with snacks, coffee, and tea.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and maintain cleanliness of prep items.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed.
