Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dining Services Server to provide prompt, courteous service in the dining room for residents and guests. The role includes serving, bussing, salad prep, and assisting with meetings and events, while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

Required is a high school diploma and a current Food Handler’s Permit; Servsafe training is a plus. Prior food service experience is preferred, with strong communication and dependability valued in this friendly community setting.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively (verbal and written) with residents and staff.
• Must read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
• Must be cordial and congenial with residents.
• Must be dependable, detail oriented, organized, and have good follow through.
• Must work with limited direct supervision and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving and bussing.
• Prepare salad bar items and desserts; assist in meeting setups and special events.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and maintain cleanliness of prep areas.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to dress code.
