Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Dining Services Server to provide prompt, courteous service in the dining room for residents, guests, and staff during meals. The role includes serving, bussing, cleaning and hospitality duties, with responsibility for meetings and special events.

Responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, salad and dessert preparation, opening/closing dining rooms, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
• ServSafe training is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables.
• Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff in the dining room or Bistro; bus and reset tables.
• Prepare salad bar items for lunch and stage desserts; light food prep for events; assist in meetings with snacks and beverages.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and safety rules; maintain cleanliness of prep items.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed.
• Set up meetings or events and ensure timely service.
