EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform a variety of dining service functions, maintain clean and sanitary dining areas, and assist with basic food preparation. The role emphasizes serving residents, following recipes, and ensuring meals are delivered on time and at proper temperatures.

Responsibilities include setting up dining rooms, bussing tables, cleaning duties, receiving and storing supplies, and maintaining HACCP records.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned.
• Assist with dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, including preparing beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items as instructed and in accordance with recipes; ensure foods are served at proper temperatures and on time.
• Assist with dining room set up including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Assist with all aspects of clean-up to maintain dining service areas.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or equipment issues to supervisor.
• Maintain HACCP logs and record product usage and waste amounts.
• Follow infection control procedures and wear protective clothing when handling waste and cleaning agents.
• Maintain documentation including temperatures in HACCP logs and other required records.

Performs defined work routines using various dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned2. Assists with all aspects of dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, including preparing beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items as instructed and in accordance with recipes; Ensures all foods are served at proper temperatures and on time3. Assists with dining room set up including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents4. Assists with all aspects of clean-up to ensure all dining service areas are maintained in accordance with policies and standards by completing daily cleaning duties, bussing tables, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, washing dishes, removing trash, stocking and storing items correctly, and keeping all dining service work areas clean5. Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies6. Follows all safety procedures and protocols as mandated by EverTrue policy, federal and state regulations, and standard food handling practices and reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment, and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately7. Maintains all necessary documentation including checking and recording food temperatures in HACCP logs, recording product usage and waste amounts, and recording any other information needed8. Follows infection control procedures, including proper hand washing, food storage, food disposal, and wearing protective clothing and equipment when handling waste and cleaning agentsQualifications, Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesTo perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily1.
