EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to support dining services for residents, ensuring meals are prepared and served safely and on time. The role includes setting up dining areas, assisting with food items, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with policies.

The position requires attention to hygiene, ability to read recipes and diet orders, and a patient, team-oriented attitude toward staff, residents, and families. Vaccination may be required per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined dining service routines using utensils and equipment.

• Receive and store food and supplies.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents immediately.
• Maintain HACCP logs and document product usage and waste.
• Follow infection control practices and PPE guidelines.

Performs defined work routines using various dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned2. Assists with all aspects of dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, including preparing beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items as instructed and in accordance with recipes; Ensures all foods are served at proper temperatures and on time3. Assists with dining room set up including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents4. Assists with all aspects of clean-up to ensure all dining service areas are maintained in accordance with policies and standards by completing daily cleaning duties, bussing tables, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, washing dishes, removing trash, stocking and storing items correctly, and keeping all dining service work areas clean5. Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies6. Follows all safety procedures and protocols as mandated by EverTrue policy, federal and state regulations, and standard food handling practices and reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment, and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately7. Maintains all necessary documentation including checking and recording food temperatures in HACCP logs, recording product usage and waste amounts, and recording any other information needed8. Follows infection control procedures, including proper hand washing, food storage, food disposal, and wearing protective clothing and equipment when handling waste and cleaning agentsQualifications, Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesTo perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily1. Previous dining service experience is preferred2. Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments3. Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions4. Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members 5. 5.
