Job summary

American Food & Vending is seeking a Dining Worker/Server in Ferguson, MO. You will greet guests, serve items from a station, assist cashiers, and help maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the dining area.

The role requires 1+ years in customer service or food service, teamwork, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Flexible shifts and opportunities to advance are available with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in Customer Service, Food Service, or Retail preferred.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Strong time management in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to prepare and serve items at a food station.
• Greet and serve guests promptly and politely.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for temperatures and portions.
• Provide guests with information on ingredients, availability and pricing.
• Cashier duties may include operating a POS and taking payments.
• Assist with labeling and packaging for take-out and mobile orders.
• Escalate customer concerns to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, utensils, and areas.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
