Job summary

American Dining Creations is seeking a Student Food Service Worker in Columbia, Missouri. You will assist the Dining Services team by greeting guests and serving menu items from a station or serving line, while following health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include helping prepare and serve items, cashier duties with POS, and maintaining neat, stocked service areas. This role offers weekly pay and flexible hours to fit class schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, food service, or retail preferred.
• Able to work in a team as well as independently.
• Ability to stay task-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic reading, writing and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, climb stairs, stand and walk for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Help team members prepare and serve menu items for a food station.
• Greet and serve guests quickly, efficiently and politely.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Assist guests with questions about menu offerings.
• Cashier duties may include operating a POS and handling payments.
• Assist with labeling and packaging for take-out and mobile orders.
• Keep kitchen, equipment, utensils and areas clean, organized and stocked.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.
