Monarch Communities is hiring a Dining Server to support our Brandywine Senior Living community in Voorhees Township. You will take dining orders, learn residents’ preferences, assist with meal prep, and help maintain a safe and welcoming dining area.

We train on site and offer benefits. The role emphasizes interaction with residents, teamwork, and a positive, service-driven attitude, with full-time hours and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED accepted.
• Minimum of one year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ dining orders in a friendly and attentive disposition.
• Ensure dining room is set up and all items needed for service are readily available.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, menus, kitchen, and serving stations.
• Ensure safe food handling.
• Assist with preparation of beverages, snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments for service.
• Assist residents with special dining requests.
• Ensure all residents are accounted for during each meal and document attendance.
• Assist with special events.

Job Description

There are many Dining Server jobs to choose from, but none will give you fulfillment like being a Dining Server?

What will you get to do as a Dining Server?

• Take residents’ dining orders in a friendly and attentive disposition
• Learn and retain residents’ names, special requests, and dietary restrictions
• Ensure dining room is set up, all items needed for service are readily available (silverware, napkins, menus, salt/pepper shakers, etc.)
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, menus, kitchen, serving stations, and other areas as directed
• Ensure safe food handling
• Assist with preparation of beverages, snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments for service
• Assist residents with any special dining requests
• Ensure all residents are accounted for during each meal, and completing documentation of their attendance
• Assist with special events
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Full time Schedule:

Week 1: Sunday (6am-2pm), Tuesday(7am-3pm), Friday (6am-2pm), Saturday (7am-3pm)

Week 2: Sunday(7am-3pm), Monday (6am-2pm), Thursday (7am-3pm), Saturday (6am-2pm)

Salary Range:

$17.00-$17.37 Hourly

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred/GED accepted
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Competent in organizational, time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Experience working with seniors

Physical Abilities:

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
