The Heritage at Meridian Gardens in Columbus, NE is seeking a part-time Dining Server to provide personalized dining service, taking orders, serving meals, and assisting with cleanup. You will maintain clean dining and kitchen areas, inspect supplies, and build positive relationships with residents and families.

Ideal candidates have a passion for senior living, strong communication, and a professional appearance. Shifts run mornings, with benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced environment; entry-level for senior living.
• Ability to work mornings, 7AM to 2PM.
• Strong communication regarding resident dietary needs.
• Commitment to professional appearance and safety, including uniform, slip-resistant shoes, and gloves.

What You’ll Do:

As a Dining Server, you’ll play a hands-on role in improving the lives of our residents by:

• Providing personalized dining service, including taking orders, serving meals, and assisting with all clean-up procedures.
• Preparing and maintaining dining, kitchen, and storage areas, ensuring they are safe, organized, and sanitary according to cleaning schedules and requirements.
• Inspecting dining supplies, utensils and equipment, recommending replacements as needed.
• Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and team members .

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a fast-paced environment ; this is an entry-level position for those with a strong interest in the senior living industry.
• Ability to work, Mornings, 7AM to 2Pm.
• Strong communication skills, especially regarding resident dietary needs.
• Commitment to professional appearance and safety, including wearing a proper uniform, slip-resistant shoes, and gloves as required .
