Job summary

Warm Hearth Village is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Dining Server to join the Showalter Center team in Blacksburg, VA. No prior food service experience is required; candidates should have strong customer service, attention to detail, and teamwork.

This role offers company-paid ServSafe certification and CPR/FA training, uniforms, and work shoes, with opportunities for career growth within Warm Hearth Village. Starting wage is $14.00 per hour with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
• Must be able to walk and stand for most of each shift.
• No previous food service experience required; we are seeking people with excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a desire to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents upon arrival and serve them promptly.
• Maintain a clean and stocked dining room.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and equipment.
• Handle food safely according to local and state guidelines.
• Communicate resident feedback to managers.
• Assist in meal preparation and attend trainings.

This is a great way to get your foot in the door in dining services and at Warm Hearth Village.Requirements:Be able to lift a minimum of 30 poundsAbility to walk and stand for the majority of each shiftShifts hiring for:5:00am -1:30pm or 6am-2:30pm with every other weekend shifts.Benefits:We have a robust benefits package with a low-cost HSA plan for FT employees.
