Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee front of house operations in line with world class dining standards. You will supervise staff, assist with scheduling, training, and performance management, and serve as manager on duty when the Restaurant Manager is absent.

The ideal candidate has strong guest service, proven leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with diplomacy, delivering exceptional guest experiences at our upscale dining venues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education/certifications preferred.
• Minimum two years of related experience in a full-service restaurant; upscale hotel/resort/attraction experience is a plus.
• Strong guest service mindset with leadership ability; develop staff.
• Knowledge of wine and cordials preferred; must be 21+ to bartend.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication; professional diplomacy.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; ability to learn Biltmore’s systems and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of front-of-house operations and staff.
• Handle escalated guest service recovery and resolve issues to standards.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Open/close shifts and manage reporting duties.
• Facilitate communication between front and back of house for seamless service.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B offerings, VIPs, groups, and Estate information.
