Job summary

Longhorn Village in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Dining Room Supervisor to oversee the daily dining venues, coordinate staff across the commons, lounge and events, and uphold service excellence for residents.

Under the Dining Room Manager, you will schedule staff, train front-of-house teams, monitor logs and inventory, handle guest feedback with a solutions-focused approach, and support the Executive Chef in special events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow written and verbal directions.
• Must have supervised a minimal staff of 5–10 people for at least one continuous year.
• Familiar with styles of service (banquet, table-side, family style, etc.).
• Must be trained as a Hostess and Server.
• Familiar with scheduling, training, evaluating and interviewing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day dining operations in the commons, lounge, and events.
• Schedule staff and ensure adequate coverage for all dining rooms and events.
• Maintain neat and orderly facilities and ensure staff are trained in their positions.
