Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to join its culinary team. You will coordinate dining room operations, supervise staff, ensure adequate staffing, and fulfill special requests to deliver high-quality service in the Gold Leaf Dining program.

Applicants should have at least one year of food service or hospitality experience, a high school diploma or GED, and prefer prior supervision of dining room staff.

Qualifications

• Required: one year prior experience in a food service or related hospitality field
• Required: high school diploma or GED
• Prefer: prior experience supervising dining room or restaurant staff

Responsibilities

• Directly supervising all dining staff, including table and section assignments
• Ensuring adequate staffing for dining room services and assisting where as needed
• Training dining staff on Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining standards, including prompt, efficient and courteous service
• Ensuring proper setup, stock and cleanliness of dining room including tables, chairs, floors, and service areas
• Relaying special food requests, meal concerns, and other comments to the appropriate individuals
