Job summary

Touchmark at All Saints in Sioux Falls is seeking a Dining Room Server for a full-time position. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, with multiple shifts available (6:30am–1:30pm, 7:30am–2:00pm, 10:00am–4:00pm). No experience is necessary, but weekend and holiday work is required. You will lift and carry trays and greet residents as you serve meals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and carry trays and stay on your feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents by name and provide courteous service.
• Take meal orders and answer questions about the menu.
• Serve meals and beverages and maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Ensure dining room operates smoothly and welcomingly.
• May serve during special events and catered functions.

No Experience Is Necessary, But You Must

• Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays
• Be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, and stay on your feet for long periods of time
• Be able to read, write, and speak English
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Your Duties Will Include

• Greeting residents by name

• Serving meals and beverages
• Ensuring that the dining room is clean
• Attractive, and operating smoothly.
• You may also serve during special events and catered functions that take place at our community.
