Job summary

Touchmark is hiring a Server for our dining room to create a warm and inviting dining experience for residents and guests. You will greet residents by name, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help keep the dining room clean and welcoming.

We value teamwork, hospitality and a positive attitude. No experience is required, but a commitment to Touchmark's values and the ability to lift trays and work weekends/holidays are important. 30+ hours per week benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Be at least 14 years old.
• Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet Touchmark residents by name and take meal orders.
• Serve meals and beverages and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and smoothly operating dining room.
• Assist with special events and catered functions at the community.

As a Server in our dining room, you will enrich lives every day by creating a friendly and inviting dining experience for Touchmark residents and guests. Your duties will include such tasks as greeting residents by name, taking meal orders and answering questions about the menu, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring that the dining room is clean, attractive, and operating smoothly. You may also serve during special events and catered functions that take place at our community.
