Job summary

StoryPoint Group in Union, KY is seeking a Lead Server to ensure efficient restaurant operation and high standards of service for residents and guests.

You will supervise dining room staff, coordinate service, handle reservations, greet guests, and escort them to tables while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and a positive dining experience.

Full-time hours include 12p-7p on Fri, Sat, Sun and 7a-2p Mon-Thu; associates degree or equivalent and prior fine dining experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required; or 1–3 years related experience; fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Staffing responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling.
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners.
• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
• Handle and resolve complaints to ensure a great dining experience for residents and guests.
• Assign work tasks and coordinate activities of dining room personnel for prompt service.
• Inspect dining room stations for neatness and cleanliness.
• Inventory table linens and dining room supplies; continually improve the organization.
