Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino is looking for a part-time Greeter to join the Osteria Sierra team. This role is critical as the first point of contact for guests, where you'll manage reservations, welcome arrivals, and support the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins using the restaurant's seating system.
• Provide accurate wait times and maintain efficient table rotation.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Answer phones, take messages, and assist with general guest inquiries.
• Collaborate with servers and management to ensure smooth dining room operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Follow Hyatt and local safety and sanitation standards.
