TPC Monterey at Pasadera is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead daily restaurant and beverage operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing a strong team.

You will oversee service standards, wine service, budgeting, inventory, and menu development, ensuring financial targets are met with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction in a dynamic Monterey setting. Must manage cross-department communication, train staff, and enforce safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Five years of hospitality experience focused on restaurant and beverage operations.
• Hands-on food expediting, managing ticket flow between kitchen and service.
• Sommelier training or formal wine education and knowledge of styles and pairings.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and guest service.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling costs toward financial targets.
• Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Ability to forecast staffing, inventory, and operational needs.
• Excellent organizational, communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to prioritize and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily restaurant and beverage service, ensuring quality, cleanliness, presentation, and smooth opening/closing.
• Coordinate food expediting between kitchen and service to ensure accuracy and proper pacing.
• Build positive guest relationships and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant and beverage staff; provide coaching.
• Establish service standards and accountability for hospitality and teamwork.
• Apply sommelier training to support wine selection, storage, service, and pairings.
• Manage controllable expenses, monitor sales and labor costs, and meet budgets.
• Forecast beverage and operating supply needs and coordinate with culinary on purchasing.
