Job summary

TPC Monterey at Pasadera in Monterey, CA is seeking a friendly, service-driven Server to join our Food & Beverage team part-time with flexible scheduling. You will take orders, deliver food and drinks, maintain polished tables, and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Prior serving experience and excellent English communication are preferred. Evenings, weekends and holidays availability required; 18+ years old; compensation includes $16.90/hour plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous serving experience preferred (hospitality or private club experience a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for alcohol service).
• Excellent oral communication skills; fluent English; basic writing; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service to members and guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver promptly.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverages.
• Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout service.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Uphold club standards for service, appearance, and professionalism.
