Duties
  • Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff coordination
  • Support staff training and development to ensure high standards of customer service, food handling, and safety protocols
  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality control and adherence to recipes and presentation standards
  • Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all dining areas
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, catering, banquets, and special events to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a strong workforce
  • Support budget management efforts by monitoring expenses related to food costs and labor
Skills
  • Proven experience in food service management within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams and managing shifts effectively
  • Expertise in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management practices
