Job summary

Asbury Communities seeks a Dining Supervisor to develop, coordinate and execute food service activities for our Independent Living and Personal Care areas, ensuring high-quality production, presentation, delivery and clean up.

You will plan, direct staff, coach on standards, and work with the Executive Director to meet budget targets while maintaining service quality. You will also conduct quality checks and participate in ongoing Quality Improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a dietary capacity preferred.
• Experience in senior living or retirement community is preferred.

• Collaborate with the Executive Director to meet budget and cost efficiency in kitchen and serving functions.
• Conduct regular quality and compliance checks.
• Participate in ongoing Quality Improvement to evaluate and improve services and standards.
• Cooks 20 hours a week and more as needed.
• Act as Manager on Duty as required.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time, 40 hours weekly
• Hours: 11am-7:30pm 4 days a week, 1 day 7am-3:30pm
• Every other weekend 7am-3:30pm
• $21.00-$22.00/hour

Job Description

The Dining Supervisor develops, plans, coordinates and executes the food service activities of the Independent Living and Personal Care areas, personally or through delegating duties to kitchen staff ensuring the highest quality of food production, presentation, delivery and clean up.

• Plan, assign and direct work while providing continuous coaching and mentoring on standards and policies.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to successfully meet budget and cost efficiently within the kitchen and serving functions for daily operation.
• Conduct regular quality and compliance checks.
• Participate in ongoing process of Quality Improvement to evaluate and improve upon services and standards.
• Cooks 20 hours a week and more as needed
• Act as Manager on Duty asrequired.
