Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Full-Time Food Service Server for its on-site dining program.

You will take and deliver food and beverage orders during meal service, assist with dining room and catering setup, and provide friendly, resident-focused service throughout shifts. You will log meal counts, temperatures, stock service areas, maintain sanitation standards, and train staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of serving experience.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Strong customer service skills.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time Position (80 hours biweekly).
• Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; every other weekend required
• Pay: $17.50/hour.

Job Description

• Always works with and supports other servers and coordinators.
• Responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders in meal service
• Assists in dining room/catering set up
• Exhibits positive customer service by engaging with residents/customers and becoming familiar with their preferences
• Consistently completes entry into all log sheets as required i.e. meal counts, dishwasher temperature, etc.
• Records and stocks supplies in service areas, as needed
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance
• Trains staff as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Restaurant operations, services, and facilities.
• Prior serving experience of minimum 2 years required
