Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. in Lewisburg, PA is seeking an experienced Dining Manager to lead food service for Independent Living and Personal Care areas, ensuring high-quality production, presentation, delivery and clean-up.

The role directs kitchen staff, coaches on standards and policies, and collaborates with the Executive Director to meet budget and drive cost efficiency. 1 Ensure quality checks and participate in Quality Improvement; ServSafe cert and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• 7-10 years related experience or equivalent combination of experience and culinary training preferred.
• Experience in senior living or retirement community is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct work while providing coaching on standards and policies.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to meet budget and control costs in kitchen and serving functions.
• Conduct regular quality and compliance checks.
• Participate in ongoing Quality Improvement to improve services and standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty as required.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time Position
• Hours: schedule based on business needs, available for 1 weekend day (8 hour shift)
• Pay: $60,000-70,000/annually

Job Description

Dining Manager develops, plans, coordinates and executes the food service activities of the Independent Living and Personal Care areas, personally or through delegating duties to kitchen staff ensuring the highest quality of food production, presentation, delivery and clean up.

• Plan, assign and direct work while providing continuous coaching and mentoring on standards and policies.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to successfully meet budget and cost efficiently within the kitchen and serving functions for daily operation.
• Conduct regular quality and compliance checks.
• Participate in ongoing process of Quality Improvement to evaluate and improve upon services and standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty as required.
