Job summary

Rolling Hills Food Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant DFAC Manager for Fort Benning, GA to oversee daily dining facility operations under the DFAC Manager and Area Manager. The role demands strong leadership, budgeting, and adherence to contract requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a management role within food service (military or large institutional settings) and possesses ServSafe certification, with a degree in business or hospitality preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a management role in a major culinary institution, a large institutional food service operation or the military.
• Ability to manage food services, labor, budget, and other resources.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business management, hospitality management, or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide management oversight of the dining facility.
• Ensure contract compliance and performance.
• Coordinate cooperation and support between dining facilities, including cross-utilization of labor resources.
• Ensure compliance with Building/Equipment Cleaning Plans.
• Physically inspects all dining facilities on a scheduled basis, with the DFAC Manager and QCM.
• Maintain budget controls for inventory, supplies, equipment ordering, and labor cost.
• Ensure work schedules are in accordance with contract requirements.
• Contribute input for the food ordering process.
• Assist in training to all employees.
• Provide mid-year and annual performance reviews.
