Job summary

Tessera is seeking a Hard Working and Motivated Operations Supervisor for Fairchild AFB dining halls in Airway Heights, WA. The role oversees daily dining facility operations, leads staff, and ensures contract compliance and high customer service.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and is a full-time, non-exempt role with a daytime/shifted schedule. The ideal candidate has custodial/ facilities experience, supervisory skills, and knowledge of safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of custodial, janitorial, or facilities operations experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of custodial procedures, floor care equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards, PPE use, and compliance practices.
• Experience with scheduling, staffing coordination, and workforce support.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in directing and overseeing daily dining facility operations to ensure efficient, high-quality food service and contract compliance.
• Supervise dining facility personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Ensure facilities are clean, safe, sanitary, and orderly per standards.
• Monitor service quality and performance to meet contract requirements and metrics.
• Conduct routine inspections for sanitation and safety; implement corrective actions.
• Assist with health, sanitation, and government inspections; document findings.
