Job summary

Tessera is seeking a motivated Food Service Attendant/Cashier for Fairchild AFB in Washington. Part-time schedule 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Duties include ringing up purchases, handling payments, cleaning and stocking, and maintaining a clean dining area.

Eligible part-time employees receive benefits, holidays, tuition assistance, and development opportunities. Must be able to obtain security clearances and REAL ID compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of Food Service/Cashier/Janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearances and REAL ID compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ringing up food purchases on a cash register in the dining hall at Fairchild AFB.
• Collect cash and credit cards from patrons during meal periods.
• Reconcile cash drawers with POS reports.
• Wash, and store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following hygiene standards.
• Monitor and replenish supplies according to schedule.
• Ensure timely removal of used dishware to maintain a welcoming dining experience.
• Clean tables and chairs; empty trash and recycling bins.
• Perform cashiering duties as needed.
• Communicate with customers in a courteous, professional manner.
