Job summary

Allen Tharp, LLC is seeking a FT SAM Assistant Manager in San Antonio, TX to oversee the dining facility when the manager is away and ensure contract compliance and sanitation per the 2019 Tri-Service Food Code.

The role requires supervision experience in food service, proficiency with data entry and basic computer tasks, and the ability to meet physical demands; DoD CAC eligibility is required for employment.

Qualifications

• 3 years supervision in a food service environment within the last 10 years.
• Must type at least 20 words per minute and enter data in a computer system.
• Must have a state driver's license, vehicle, and clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check for base access and be able to obtain a DoD CAC.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dining facility operations in the absence of the Dining Facility Manager.
• Ensures sanitation standards and compliance with the 2019 Tri-Service Food Code.
• Briefs cashiers and line servers on duties; conducts training as needed.
• Monitors monetary income within authorized allowances and coordinates with the Project Manager on SERV Safe details.
