Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Dining Attendant for Langdale Place in the AR - Langdale Dietary department. The role includes delivering meals to residents and staff, portioning and presenting food attractively, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are followed throughout the dining area.

The position is full-time with an 8-hour day shift from 10am to 6pm, and involves assisting in various patient food service duties as needed to support residents’ meals and customer service in dining rooms.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, follow oral and written instructions.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work harmoniously with a variety of people; must show courtesy, tact and confidentiality, and work at a reasonable speed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to residents and employees, and assist with menu selection, tray delivery and pickup as needed.
• Maintain sanitary and orderly dining areas and ensure food is served at proper temperatures.
