Job summary

Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Iowa seeks a Big Drop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the Diner's Front and Back of House, ensuring product and service quality, consistency and team member development. You will implement service standards and manage cost parameters to meet budgets while adhering to health regulations.

The role requires extensive F&B knowledge, exceptional guest service and strong leadership to drive high-quality dining experiences across FOH and kitchen

Qualifications

• Extensive food and beverage service knowledge.
• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Oversee FOH quality across the Diner.
• Develop preliminary Diner menu concepts.
• Establish service standards for the Diner.
• Assist in defining cost parameters for the Diner.
• Manage expenses to meet budgeted goals.
• Schedule FOH Diner staff and monitor payroll.
• Organize FOH for speed and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and internal controls.
• Possess ability to obtain required licenses.
• Track key food and beverage service metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Conduct periodic evaluations and development.
• Manage inventories, rotation, par levels, physical counts.
• Coordinate new inventory with F&B Director and Purchasing.
• Recruit and develop Diner service staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH and BOH operations at the Diner, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Develop menus and set service standards for the Diner.
• Develop cost parameters and manage expenses to meet budgets.
• Schedule FOH Diner staff and manage payroll costs.
• Maintain organization for fast and efficient service.
• Ensure compliance with Iowa Dept of Health and other regulations.
• Obtain necessary licenses as required.
• Track key metrics of food and beverage service.
• Conduct periodic team member evaluations and development.
• Coordinate new inventory with F&B Director and Purchasing.
• Hire and develop all levels of Diner service staff.
