Job summary

Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort® is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the Diner (FOH) and ensure service quality and team development in alignment with state rules.

You will lead menu development, set service standards, and manage costs and payroll while maintaining regulatory compliance and guest satisfaction across dining rooms and kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Front of House/Diner operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations as required by Iowa Health Dept.
• Ability to develop menus and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage service.
• Oversee Diner (FOH) operational quality.
• Assist in preliminary menu development.
• Develop service standards and implement them for the Diner.
• Develop cost-related parameters for the Diner.
• Manage expenses to meet budgeted goals.
• Schedule Front of House Diner staff and control payroll costs.
• Coordinate Front of House organization for fast and efficient service.
• Coordinate compliance with Iowa Department of Health and internal controls.
• Obtain necessary licenses as required by authorities.
• Track critical areas of food and beverage service and perform other duties as assigned.
• Conduct periodic team member evaluations and development strategies.
• Manage inventories including rotation, par levels, and physical counts.
• Coordinate new inventory items with the Food and Beverage Director and Purchasing Manager.
• Hire and develop all levels of the Diner service team.
