Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. in the U.S. is seeking a Product Engineer (Dimensional) to join our New Product Development and Production Engineering teams.

You will develop robust processes and tooling to support growth in aerospace investment casting, with exposure to the latest 3D modeling concepts and GD&T practices. The role requires problem-solving, root cause analysis, and experience with CPD/PDCA style approaches; occasional travel to CPP facilities, customers, and vendors is

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or 3-5 years of applicable experience in investment casting or tooling design.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and documentation ability.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Experience with CAD tools, preferably NX, and structured light tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and teach best practice investment casting procedures.
• Interface with tooling vendors and CPP purchasing to cost-optimize tools.
• Control dimensional quality of casting and optimize yields.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement PDCA-based solutions.
• Interpret customer drawings/blueprints (CAD/NX) and layout reports.
• Travel to CPP facilities, customers, and vendors as needed.
