Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Eastlake is seeking an Engineering Co-op to support New Product Development and Production Engineering efforts. You will work with manufacturing to develop robust processes and tooling for aerospace investment casting markets.

The role emphasizes problem solving using PDCA and Six-Sigma approaches, with occasional local travel to CPP facilities, customers, and vendors.This is an internship position.

Qualifications

• Working on a BS in Engineering; junior or senior year preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), PC skills, and program management.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and documentation abilities.
• Motivated with data-driven problem solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve investment casting procedures.
• Design and construct dies, gages, and tooling.
• Interface with tooling vendors and CPP purchasing.
• Apply data analysis (DOE, Six Sigma) to improve yields.
• Interpret GD&T, CAD models, and drawings.
• Document work procedures and cross-functional collaboration.
