Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience applying GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
  • Knowledge of statistical tolerancing methods (Monte Carlo, RMS, MRSS).
  • Understanding of kinematic principles for geometry in assemblies.
  • Experience with CAD modeling (CREO preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed 3D tolerance analyses and one-dimensional tolerance analyses to assess design margins and capacity.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop datum flow and create interface drawings (ICDs).
  • Apply GD&T on technical data packages and maintain dimensional integrity.
  • Coordinate Dimensional Management activities as lead on programs and support Critical Item initiatives.
  • Self-start and drive objectives for Dimensional Management within programs, including supplier inspection planning when needed.
  • Support inspections for internal and supplier qualifications and ensure compliance with specifications.
