Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a production quality inspector in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include dimensional inspection, reading engineering drawings, and using CMM equipment and hand tools to ensure product conformance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with inspection experience. You will work a 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM shift, supporting production schedules and HSSE initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection of products using CMM equipment and hand tools.
• Interpret and report inspection results and maintain documentation.
• Identify and document product non-conformities and support corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement and HSSE projects.
• Lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance to meet production needs.

Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality expectations while supporting a production schedule.
• Execute daily priorities as defined by the supervisor or area lead.
• Perform dimensional inspection of product using Romer or Faro arm portable CMM equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspection of product using stationary CMM equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspection of product using hand tools.
• Interpret and report results of inspections and maintain documentation in an organized fashion.
• Identify and document product non-conformities.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and HSSE projects.
• Lift a minimum of 30lbs.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and performance to meet production and business needs.
• Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by familiarizing yourself with and adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH's HSSE governing policy.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of dimensional inspection experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using mechanical measurement tools or hand tools.

Additional Information

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
• No relocation assistance.
• 6:30AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Friday (with overtime as required, some holidays required)
