Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a skilled Dimensional Control Engineer to support manufacturing and quality across its plants. You will apply GD&T, interpret inspection data, and ensure gauge calibration and data integrity for CMM, laser gauge, and 3D scanning systems.

With 3+ years in automotive/manufacturing, you will lead process improvements, develop control plans, and drive corrective actions with a focus on lean manufacturing and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical/Automation, Mechanical).
• 3+ years of experience in automotive/manufacturing environment.
• Strong GD&T and dimensional inspection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Apply GD&T principles and interpret inspection data.
• Maintain gauge calibration, certification, repeatability and reproducibility.
• Lead dimensional control group and ensure data integrity from CMM, laser gauge, and related tools.
• Develop dimensional/process control plans and drive corrective actions across manufacturing.
