Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience in tool building and laser tracking
• Experience devising reference systems and creating working build models
• Ability to work with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF
• Must be able to obtain U.S. Government Clearance and SAP clearance before starting

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, and assemble major jigs, fixtures, tool masters, and related tooling with exact tolerances
• Plan operations using tool design drawings or own designs
• Set up and operate optical instruments to check alignment and assembly fit
• Develop and design holding devices and jig/fixture details
• Prepare shop drawings and sequences for parts fabrication and assembly
• May monitor quality using statistical process controls
