You will learn traditional dim sum techniques through on-the-job training, work early shifts starting at 7:00 am, and collaborate with a motivated team to deliver consistent, high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with kitchen staff in Mandarin or English.
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a Chinese kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of Chinese cuisine or interest in learning dim sum.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices.
• Willing to learn, take direction, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork, positive attitude, and professional work habits.
• Able to start early shifts at 7:00 am, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of dim sum and other menu items.
• Follow recipes and instructions from the Head Chef or Senior Chefs.
• Handle ingredients, including cutting, marinating, and portioning.
• Support daily mise en place and replenishment of food supplies.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.
• Be open to training and rotation across different dim sum preparation sections.
• Follow kitchen instructions and support team members when required.
