Job summary

Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA is seeking a part-time Conversion Crew member to assist with event setup, conversions, and daily facility tasks. This role supports the Operations department and requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as event schedules demand.

The successful candidate will work with supervisors and managers to plan day-to-day tasks, operate common event equipment, and help maintain the venue on non-event days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Working knowledge of operations equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, utility vehicles, staging, trussing, hand tools, power tools, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, conversions, and daily operational tasks.
• Support the Assistant Managers, Crew Leads and Event Managers with information.
• Help establish day-to-day tasks for the department.
• Perform facility operational tasks on non-event days.

Job Summary

The Conversion Crew provides support to the Operations department by assisting with event setup s , c onversions , general facility maintenance , and daily operational tasks.

Essential Functions

• Physically assist with event setup s , conversions , and daily operational tasks .
• Assist the Assistant Manager s of Operations , Conversion Crew Leads and Event Managers with relevant event/ operation related information .
• Work with Supervisor s to establish day to day task s for department .
• Perform facility operational tasks required to maintain the facility on non-event days .
• Other operational responsibilities and duties as assigned .

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency
• 0-2 years o f related work experience
• Working knowledge of operations equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, utility vehicles, staging, trussing, hand tools, power tools, etc.
• Must be able to work nights , weekends , and holidays as event schedule requires
• Ability to execute and meet deadlines as well as function in a timely manner
• Ability to work as a team and accurately follow instructions
• Ability to complete tasks with great attention to detail
• Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with a team member
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Excellent time management skills and abi lity to prioritize specific tasks
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and effectively maneuver between functions .
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors
• Knowledge of and/or previous work experience in sports and entertainment preferred
• Knowledge of general safety practices

Pay Scale

Payscale: $21.53 per hour

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.

Benefits: Part-time: This position may be eligible for benefits (ACA qualification).
