Job summary

Cobb County School District in Marietta, GA is seeking a Supervisor, Digital Transformation to lead the planning, organization, coordination, and implementation of the Cobb Teaching and Learning System (CTLS) and district digital resources.

The role reports to the Director, Digital Transformation and focuses on building leadership capacity, delivering PD for district stakeholders, and coordinating content with resources and vendors to optimize CTLS adoption.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate at level 5 or higher; actively working towards leadership certification.
• Three years teaching experience; instructional technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Supports all development and the full implementation of CTLS including Teach, Learn, Assess, and Parent.
• Design, develop, and deliver synchronous and asynchronous professional learning opportunities for district stakeholders related to CTLS including Teach, Learn, Assess, and Parent.
• Works with Learning Resources Supervisor and content supervisors to curate standards-based, high-quality content to be housed in the CTLS Resource Library.
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the Cobb Teaching and Learning System.
• Evaluates stakeholder feedback to provide insight into continuous enhancements of CTLS including Teach, Learn, Assess, and Parent.
• Models and encourages lifelong learning and continuous growth by being an active member of professional learning communities and participating in regular professional development.
• Builds digital leadership capacity among school leaders, teachers, students, and community.
• Supports local schools with transforming the instructional approach to include digital learning environments.
• Supports the promotion and marketing of CTLS including Teach, Learn, Assess, and Parent locally and nationally.
• Partners with vendors, Student Information Systems, Instructional Technology, and Academics to manage the acquisition, integration, and support of district-provided digital resources, including escalated helpdesk requests.
• Applies instructional design expertise to design, develop, and deliver CTLS coursework to serve as both professional learning for teachers as well as exemplar student-facing materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
