Job summary

FHLB Dallas invites interns to explore wholesale banking operations, data-driven workflows, and technology-enabled processes. You’ll learn how loans, collateral, and mortgage lending interact within a bank-for-banks ecosystem and help advance analytics and automation initiatives.

You will engage with business units to understand processes, develop insights from large datasets, and contribute to AI and data architecture research. Flexible hours with onsite presence support a student schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, data science and some computer courses.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field with some economics/finance courses.
• Demonstrated passion for using technology to solve problems.
• Strong analytical skills including problem solving and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with large data sets and data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build, automate, and support data reports, metrics, and analytics.
• Collect and analyze data, develop dashboards/reports for various departments.
• Assist in building Power Automate flows and Power App screens.
• Help develop AI prompts and interact with LLM models via API.
• Research assigned topics and summarize findings.
• Meet with business units to understand bank processes.
