Job summary

AMPORTS Jacksonville is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to drive the Digital Transformation by documenting current processes and building scalable digital solutions.

You will partner with departments to capture workflows, translate them into web apps and Power Automate flows, and ensure governance and IT controls are followed. This hands-on role emphasizes documentation, testing, and successful UAT coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS/CS or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Experience documenting processes with swim-lane diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with web apps, Power Apps or Power Automate.
• Experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Proficiency with Visio or similar tools.
• Reading and interpreting SQL code / stored procedures.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and UAT coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools for documentation or development support.

Responsibilities

• Document current-state processes through structured discovery sessions.
• Create swim-lane diagrams showing roles, systems, data flows.
• Maintain a centralized Process Registry and classify automation readiness.
• Validate processes with stakeholders and obtain approvals.
• Translate approved docs into digital solutions (web apps, Power Automate).
• Develop applications using AMPORTS architecture and AI tools.
• Ensure governance with Azure DevOps pipelines and environment controls.
• Produce technical docs including data dictionaries and API routes.
• Execute functional and system testing, including AI-generated tests.
• Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders and support testing.
