Job summary

INDOT is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to enable digital transformation. The role focuses on building strong stakeholder relationships, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and guiding cross-functional teams through the SDLC to deliver data-driven solutions.

You will interact with product owners, subject matter experts, and IT teams to align business objectives with technical feasibility, manage expectations, and facilitate change across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a business analyst, consultant, or similar role in technology or government.
• Experience in a consultative or project setting.
• Strong written and oral communications with multiple audiences (technical, data, business, project management, leadership).
• Business requirements and user story creation and documentation.
• Experience with the Salesforce platform and eliciting/documenting requirements is highly desired.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and Salesforce in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across INDOT to ensure alignment and effective communication of technology and data-driven solutions.
• Serving as the business relationship manager for functional areas, providing strategic guidance and leading conversations when needed.
• Translating complex concepts and ambiguous needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
• Leading discovery sessions, workshops, and discussions to deeply understand processes, pain points, and outcomes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan interoperability across INDOT systems, data, and processes.
